Trido Energy Services, established in 2009 and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, specializes in manufacturing high-efficiency solar-powered chemical pumps, instrument air systems, and liquid transfer pumps. The Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and fostering strategic partnerships. This position leads the sales and business development team, developing and executing strategies to position Trido Energy Services as a leader in sustainable energy solutions.
Reporting to the President of Trido Energy Services, the Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, enhancing customer relationships, and driving long-term growth through innovative sales approaches. The role requires a deep understanding of the energy sector, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering results in a competitive market.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, results-oriented leader with the ability to inspire teams, build high-value partnerships, and align sales strategies with the company’s mission of driving operational performance and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies aligned with Trido's mission to drive operational performance and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the company's footprint in the oil and gas industry, focusing on innovative and sustainable technologies.
2. Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and business development teams to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
3. Client Relations:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Work with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that leverage Trido's product offerings and carbon credit management services.
4. Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Utilize market insights to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for growth and innovation.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other teams, including Product Development and Operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with Trido’s overall objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive product innovation and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree would be an asset.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development within the energy sector, with a focus on sustainable technologies and emissions reduction.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of carbon credit markets and environmental regulations is an asset.
