Are you a sales or technical professional with strong experience that is looking for a new, exciting opportunity? Our Sales & Business Development team is seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Representative to join our team based in Calgary, Alberta.
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will support Centurion’s sales efforts by identifying potential customers, maintaining & building customer relationships, and promoting the Company’s surface rentals business lines. This role will collaborate closely with senior sales staff, operations, and marketing to ensure a seamless customer experience. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Core Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business leads through networking and market research.
- Maintain a pipeline of potential clients in various industries.
- Qualify prospects and schedule meetings or product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Ensure regular follow-up with customers to maintain satisfaction and uncover future opportunities.
- Work closely with senior sales representatives to support larger sales opportunities and cross-selling efforts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals for potential clients.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, providing updates on progress toward sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered an asset.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within oilfield rentals or a related service segment.
- Strong network of client relationships in drilling, completions, or related industry segments.
- Ability to speak in a public setting and confidently deliver presentations on Centurion’s business lines.
- Ability to multi-task multiple projects and priorities, work under pressure and meet varied deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and Social Media (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, LinkedIn).
- Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as needed.
