Are you a Journeyperson or Apprentice Mobile Crane Operator looking for a new, exciting opportunity with a great company? We are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our organization. This position will be based out of Grande Prairie and will be expected to travel regularly.
Core Responsibilities
- Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment.
- Perform pre‐operational inspections.
- Perform worksite inspections.
- Complete Field Level Hazard Assessments and Hazard ID forms.
- Calculate crane capacities, determine load weight, set up, position, and stabilize the crane before the lift.
- Complete Critical Lift forms as required.
- Responsible for disassembling, traveling, and transporting mobile cranes.
- Complete hours of service logbooks.
- Participate in rigging procedures.
- Ability to complete some routine maintenance and housekeeping of the crane equipment such as lubricatingand cleaning.
Requirements
- Journeyperson or Apprentice Crane Operator.
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License required with acceptable driver’s abstract.
- Strong knowledge of cranes and oilfield experience is an asset.
- Ability to work in all-weather elements.
- Strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, mathematical ability, excellent visual & depth perception, and a high degree of hand-foot-eye coordination.
