As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the High Flow Water & Wastewater business line, including operational excellence, business development, team leadership, and financial performance. Reporting to the President, the General Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining Centurion’s reputation for excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the strategic plan for High Flow, aligning with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand High Flow’s footprint.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of wastewater treatment solutions for the High Flow division.
- Oversee project management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and environmental standards.
Business Development:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead sales and marketing efforts to secure new contracts and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Represent the High Flow division at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the division’s budget, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to make informed decisions.
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong margins.
Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities to team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering, or a related field. P.Eng. designation is considered an asset.
- 10-15+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment or a related industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
- Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
