The Corporate HSE/ESG Administrator supports the day-to-day administration and coordination of Centurion’s HSE and ESG programs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across safety systems, training, reporting, and documentation. Working closely with Operations, HR, and leadership, this role plays a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting incident management, and driving continuous improvement of HSE/ESG processes. This is a part-time position initially with the potential to transition into a permanent part-time role.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with HSE/ESG requirements across employees, subcontractors, equipment, and operations, including training, certifications, and documentation.
  • Manage and continuously improve HSE/ESG systems, platforms, and reporting processes (e.g., Workhub, WCB, ISN, ComplyWorks), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and standardization.
  • Lead HSE governance activities, including safety meetings, performance reporting, KPI tracking, and trend analysis.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training, competency tracking, and HSE/ESG initiatives in collaboration with HR and leadership.
  • Oversee incident management, including reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions with internal teams and clients.
  • Maintain all equipment and operational HSE documentation (SOPs, hazard assessments, manuals, certifications), ensuring updates, compliance, and employee sign-off.
  • Identify, track, and resolve safety and equipment deficiencies through inspections, audits, and continuous monitoring.
  • Ensure all client, vendor, and subcontractor HSE/ESG requirements are met, including prequalification, reporting, and ongoing compliance.
  • Act as a key liaison for HSE/ESG matters, ensuring clear communication with clients, management, and internal teams.
  • Support third-party audits and ensure readiness across all HSE/ESG systems and documentation.
  • Develop and manage HSE/ESG reporting, safety recognition programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor contracts, accounts, and operations to identify efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and risk mitigation opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Studies, Business, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HSE, safety administration, or a related support role (industrial or field environment preferred).
  • Working knowledge of HSE regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements is an asset.
  • Experience with HSE/ESG systems or compliance platforms (e.g., ISN, ComplyWorks, Avetta, Workhub, or similar) is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a part-time capacity.
  • Ability to support reporting, track data, and assist with KPI monitoring and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams (Operations, Human Resources, and Management).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain continuity of HSE/ESG processes during the coverage period.
