CENTURION CANADA RENTALS & SERVICES PUTS THE ENVIRONMENT FIRST AT TEAM BUILDING DAY

Well done to the Centurion Canada Rentals & Services (Centurion CRS) Finance Team, who recently worked together on a community engagement team building event.

13 members of Centurion CRS’ Finance department came together in Edmonton, Alberta to volunteer with the Edmonton and Area Land Trust, a local environmental charity that works to protect natural areas and conserve biodiversity.

The team travelled 30 minutes west of Edmonton to Glory Hills Conservation Lands where they worked together, hiking on-and-off trail to repair sections of a barbed wire fence line and remove hundreds of feet of wire laying on the forest floor. Barbed wire poses a significant risk to wildlife and people who use the area as it can easily be tripped on and cause injury.

The event was a huge success that brought the team closer together! Activities such as this not only serve to forge stronger connections within our teams, but also play an important role in our commitment to supporting the communities and environments in which we operate, making a tangible and impactful difference.
