Job Title: Manager of Sales and Marketing

Reporting to: VP of Sales and Marketing

Location: #1425,407 2nd Street SW Calgary

Salary: TBD

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm


Position Overview:

The Manager of Sales and Marketing will have a primary focus on driving sales growth and maximizing revenue streams. They will oversee the Calgary sales team and collaborate with operations managers with business-development responsibilities. Approximately twenty-five percent of the role will involve supervisory and managerial duties, with the remaining focus on direct sales activities and core customer support. This individual will prioritize maintaining productive relationships with customers and clients, working alongside the VP of Sales and Marketing and the Business Development team to develop and implement strategies that drive results and foster sales innovations. Additionally, they will ensure the company remains competitive and well-positioned in the marketplace.

Key Deliverables:

  • Generate direct sales to new and existing customers.
  • Maintain a high level of service line and product knowledge.
  • Provide oversight and leadership to the Calgary and remote-based sales and marketing team members.
  • Proficiently utilize CRM work management tools, specifically Monday.com, to streamline and enhance organizational processes for efficient management of sales and customer relationships.
  • Ensure sales drive is well organized and sales contact list is up to date in the CRM.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on contacts and the status of bids/quotes within the CRM.
  • Update and maintain service line quotations, templates and ensure updated terms and conditions or MSA’s are in place.
  • Acquire an understanding of all Centurion CRS product and service lines and how they are managed by operations to assist with quoting and developing customer proposals based on solutions.
  • Drive Centurion CRS sales and marketing efforts, liaise with the operations personnel as required.
  • Participate and actively contribute to the Sales and Operations weekly meeting in addition to the weekly dedicated business development team meeting with Calgary and remote based team members.
  • Manage and constructively resolve customer issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate with HSE Program and customers as required on safety related issues.
  • Develop a fundamental understanding of the product lines within the global group to recognize potential synergies for business development and comprehend how such collaborations can be advantageous for our customers.
  • Actively participate in quarterly business reviews and provide input on revenue forecasts when requested.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

College or University degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred 10+ years direct work experience in a management or supervisory capacity.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and direct teams.
  • Experience in all aspects of sales and marketing.
  • Valid driving licence for field travel.
  • H2S Alive, Basic First Aid and GSO (General Safety Orientation) certifications
  • Proficiency in conducting presentations and meetings will be necessary.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners and customers.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software programs
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed.
